CEO message for Pigma Illustration Contest winning works
CEO Jae-Chun Shim of ZIMMOAH Corp.
Hello, everyone.
This year, the 6th Pigma Illustration Contest was held, while the world is suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
I deeply appreciate all of you for participating in this contest despite the difficult situation.
As the COVID-19 crisis has prolonged much longer than we expected, not only the threat of disrupting our daily lives but also the enormous economic losses are to be endured.
I believe the way to overcome this crisis wisely is to keep our hopes up and continue to encourage and support ourselves and the people around us.
In that sense, the theme of this year's contest has a great meaning, not only the winning work, but also every piece of artwork made a big impression.
Until last year, I was attracted to the detailed expression and unique creativity of the works.
However, when I saw this year's winning pieces of work, I realized beyond expression and creativity, how much spiritual comfort and challenge art gives to humanity.
All the employees of Zimmoah had time to actively share their feelings and thoughts while appreciating the winning pieces of work.
I think that in the social distancing era, we should pay more attention to the true value and philosophical message of art.
Considering the influence that works of art have on our souls and minds, the tools that shine on the work of art must also be developed and improved.
I was able to take pride in our Sakura Pigma products and have a new found appreciation for product development.
Thank you again for your passion and courage participating in our contest despite the difficulties.
In order to properly comply with the social distancing campaign, we congratulate you online this year.
I hope to congratulate you in the 7th contest next year in person.
I wish you health and happiness always.
We will actively support you in artistic activities with more improved products and meaningful campaigns.
Thank you.
