WALDMANN

01
Sterling Silver Fountain Pens
with 100 Years of Craftsmanship

The history of Waldmann's manufacturing and development began in Pforzheim,
a traditional jewelry city in the Black Forest region of Germany in 1918. Starting with
the production of premium pencils made of gold and silver, the company developed
fountain pens and ballpoint pens with high-quality materials such as brass, silver,
and 18-carat gold. They then developed a twist mechanism that enabled them to
create 2-color and 4-color pens. They were able to obtain a worldwide patent.
The 4 color twist-action pencil was honored with a silver medal in the 1937 Paris
Exposition. Another patent, the Two-in-One, was developed in 1972. The Two-in-one product is a multi-function pen that consists of a ballpoint pen on
one side and a fountain pen on the other.

For a long time, Waldmann products have been officially presented to star athletes
such as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Mikael Schumacher, as well as gifts to
the royal families of Buckingham Palace, France, and Poland. In 2000, the company
sponsored traditional events such as the 'America's Cup' sailing competition.
For this, they produced limited edition products. In 2002, the original 2 color
twist-action ball pen appeared in the movie "Catch me if you can" starring
Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. After the release of the film, it was revived
due to the overwhelming request of fans.
